If you are like me, quarantine is starting to get to you. Staying cooped up inside all day can be stressful and mindless! Taking a step back to breathe and finding a relaxing activity is a great way to fix those quarantine blues! Here are 5 things I like to do when I need a nice break.
Take a Relaxing Bath. Baths are a great way to wind down at the end of a stressful day. To add even more luxury to your bath experience, try adding some bath salts or fun bath bombs! Light some candles, turn down the lights, and enjoy!
Read a Book. I love finding a good book to dive into and escape reality. It’s always fun to experience new worlds and characters. I love a good mystery or thriller! The Last House Guest By: Megan Miranda and any book by Ruth Ware are my current favorites!
Try a new face mask! We can’t go out and buy anything, but stores are still shipping things! The Amazon Clay Mask from Amazon is great! Ulta also has some great choices like the YES TO brand and TONYMOLY. Their sheet masks are easy and fun!
Go on a Walk. If it’s a nice day, put on your walking shoes and get some fresh air! Nature is naturally calming and allows you to unplug from all the technology you have probably been glued to all day. I know I am! Even though we are in quarantine, going outside is not canceled. Just make sure you still stay those 6 feet apart! I will put a link to my favorite sneakers below. Comfy and cute!
Watch a movie. Going to the movies is one of my favorite activities to do, so why not make your own movie theater? Pop some popcorn, get some fun candy, maybe a good glass of wine and curl up on the couch! Netflix, Hulu and Amazon all have great choices! My favorite romantic comedy on Netflix right now is The Ugly Truth.
